Mood:  cool

The First Five... it all starts out with the one, but with me it was the five, or The Five, or The Faboulous Five, Fearsome Five.... I wish I remember the name. All I can say is I remember when I first created this quintuplet in my head, 1980-something or probably when I entered the 7th grade. Now how's that for a timeline, eh? But I also know that once Strafe/Sunbird/Avatar left the group, the became and forever were called The Four. But for purposes of revisionist forgetfullness they will go down now as The Fabulous Five. Later in their careers when the team broke up many in the newspapers of their world would call that once pure, classic, and innocent group of young men that fell to the powers of evil as The Forgotten Five.

Also, following is a list of the group and probably the most unelaborate group of super-villains a 7th grader could come up with in his head. But they definitely were some of the first evil-doers to clash against what was supposed to be the greatest super team ever. And with them a list of some names that come to me so I don't forget.

It's been about twenty years, yes that's right, 20 freakin' years since I put down on paper the men and women, the superheroes and heroines, of the crazy-ass world that raged like a supernatural battleground in my head.

I searched today in the one place I thought my list of baddies and good-guys  might be hidden, locked away, but it seems it has been with me, or what is left of this world, is in my head. That is all that is left and with that I have at least the foundation onto which to build a new world.
